This workshop starts on the 21st February 2025 and would suit people wanting to repair their own clothing using simple hand stitching, and to learn different patching techniques such as external, internal, sashimi, embroidered and appliqué style patches.

Take these skills further, by for example making bags, and accessories, decorating a plan white shirt, patching a denim jacket or making a slow stitching sampler.

Term 1, 2025 dates for this workshop are: Fridays:- 21st, 28th February, 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th March, 4th & 11th April. $6.00 per session = $48.00 for the term payable in advance of the start date. $10.00 casual. Students will be required to pay $30.00 p.a. to be a member of the Harmony Hall. Membership gives you access to all of the Harmony Hall program and facilities.

Please bring: A clean piece of clothing made from linen/cotton that needs mending. This workshop is best for natural fibres such as cotton and linen and not suitable for synthetic or stretchy clothing. Suitable examples of items to bring include a pair of jeans, denim jacket, a linen or cotton shirt, a piece of household linen, tea towel or napkin etc.
